Full Job Description Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse, creating work orders and quality control checks on all inbound and outbound shipments. Job Type: Full-time Essential duties and responsibilities Assist the shipping and receiving in regard to unloading trucks and checking in merchandise Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, recording amounts of materials or items received Conducting physical inventory cycle counts daily Verify quality of product inbound / outbound Checks items to be shipped against work orders to verify that quantities, destination, and routing are correct. Compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment, may process return shipments from customers. Daily reports on inventory status, inbound and outbound trucking shipments and any other topics needed at that time Meets with the Operations manager daily to discuss current and future projects Responsible for upholding the company’s policies Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, Sweep, dust and mop. Always organize warehouse and work area for orderliness Other duties as assigned Qualification requirements High School diploma or equivalent (with relevant work experience), Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management a plus 3 yrs. previous warehouse management experience required Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills Dependable and Reliable Tow Motor certified required Must be able to read and produce shipping and receiving documents Stock and track incoming product Must have flexibility of job assignments Good work ethic and attendance Quality & safety focus is a must Schedule must be flexible to work off hours Weekend work as needed Physical demands and abilities Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs. Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
