Description
Let's be frank - Covid scr3wed us musicians and the venues simultaneously.
As a guy who had a band that was actually GOING somewhere, my aim is to get back into it. More than anything, I look to get music made, mixed, and professionally mastered. I've got a lot of original tunes and have a plan which involves working with a world-famous recording studio to bring the quality up to par with the industry standards so we can release a strong demo.
Let's talk about the elephant in the room...
The concept of being *in* a band is fun. The idea of the whole thing *is* alluring BUT it's a *lot* of work. FUN work, nonetheless, so, if you're still reading, here's what I need:BE VACCINATED and have proof of it.
Being immune compromised from having a kidney transplant places me at risk in this upside down world. While I have three shots in my arm, my life is worth more than whatever excuse people try to sling at me for not getting the shots.
If you are NOT vaccinated, STOP here...Move along, these aren't the droids you are looking for.
If you ARE a responsible, smoke/drug/drama-free, skilled individual who has reliable transportation, a job that doesn't interfere with a weekly mid-week practice schedule, dedication and ambition for the craft, a marked propensity for the hatred of brown M&M's, and respect for others, keep reading.
If you're 'Not chasing the dream' and your life is 'too busy', or worse, if you schedule time with me to audition and ghost me, I have no patience for this.
I've posted this in the Napa area because while I do live on a hill in a nice neighborhood looking west over Vallejo, the area seems to be tapped for good rock band players. It's all beats, rap and metal, over here.
Anyone else looking at this who are still on board, I have a long email to send you with the rest of the details...please respond to this and I'll shoot it over for you to read.
Thanks
