We are looking for Box Truck Drivers to join OBRC's growing team! Our Box Truck Driver position is a great opportunity for those looking to grow in the transportation field and obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL). On the job training will help you develop your skills and grow within the organization! Part-Time Schedule Weekend Available Shifts: Saturday and Sunday GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION The Box Truck Driver operates a >26,000 gvw 26’ truck on a specific route in the Salem area to service OBRC accounts and BottleDrop locations by handling the pick-up and transportation of beverage containers. ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS Adhere to OSHA Safety Standards and OBRC policies Preform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of Cube Van Truck Safety and courteously operate a vehicle and all equipment, including pallet jacks, lift gates, load locks and more Proper preparation of documents, counts, and product preparation, included marking of bags, building pallets and product grouping Proper loading of trucks, insuring all items are counted and loaded and that load is properly secured in the truck Understanding of product information, company operations and can communicate with retailers and customers Ability conduct yourself in a professional manner, in both attitude and appearance Study and train for CDL test Other job duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Valid class C driver license and good driving record Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently throughout the day Ability to qualify for and obtain a CDL within 12 months of hire Must not pose a direct safety threat to himself/herself or others ** Ready to apply today? ** Click on the following link:
