We are a local beer distributor and are looking for Warehousemen to assist in all warehouse activities including, but not limited to, loading, unloading, stocking and sequencing all products.
• Pull product and build each load directly from the load sheet as soon as available. Pull and load the exact amount listed on the load sheets. Ensure pallets are built according to in-house cases per hour target for all orders.
• Ensure loads (keg routes, hotshots, package routes, special events, etc.) are done accurately and neatly with stop and load sequence written on each pallet.
• Load the product on each truck properly to prevent damage. Review each completed load and make sure it can be counted without having to move any product.
• Ability to handle equipment, such as forklift, baler, sweeper/scrubber, wrapper, glue gun and manual pump handle jack, safely and sensibly.
This is a physically demanding position requiring the following:
• Standing - continuously
• Walking - continuously
• Driving - occasionally (must be forklift certified prior to operation of company forklift)
• Reaching above - frequently
• Bending/Stooping - frequently
• Carrying (20-50 lbs) - continuously
• Carrying (50-100 lbs) - frequently
Required:
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen
• Forklift experience is preferred, but not required
