As an Auto Service Technician/Mechanic (F/T), fixes vehicles and replaces their parts as needed. The duties include inspecting the vehicle’s mechanical components and its engine, diagnosing problems with vehicles and performing maintenance and repair work on cars, trucks and other vehicles. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm. • Identify potential problems in a vehicle, ensure all critical parts of the vehicle are checked, tested, and replaced, as needed. • Perform basic automotive care, including changing oil, and rotating tires. • Repair or replace worn, old, or defective parts of a vehicle. • Repair or modify a vehicle to a client’s specifications, if possible. • Repair and replace mechanical parts and electrical components. • Perform PA State Inspections and Emission Inspections. • Keep all company vehicles in safe and working condition. Skills: • Alignment • Mechanic experience • Driving • Brakes • Diagnostics This position requires a minimum 6 months to 1-year experience in Automotive Repair. PA State Inspection and Emission Inspection License (Preferred). Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check.
