I'm a volunteer dog walker at the Wake County Animal Shelter and I'm amazed at what wonderful dogs we have still sitting there in the kennels waiting on a family. We have just about any breed, size, and personality you could want. From black Labs, to Shephards, to Golden Retriever mixes, to Hounds, and many more. I am there getting the dogs out on walks every weekend and just amazed at how well behaved they are despite being all alone in a cement kennel 24x7. They wait for you to come and take them out for that 10 minute walks. These precious dogs have done nothing wrong and deserve to go home with a family.
