Staging Design DC, an established, high-volume, professional, residential home staging company serving the DC metro area, is seeking candidates to fulfill the roles of temporary warehouse assistant and/or on-call mover. This work would be based in our warehouse, located at 10750 Tucker St., Suite A, Beltsville, MD.
These are perfect opportunities for candidates interested in flexible, part-time work.
For the position of temporary warehouse assistant, we currently need assistance in our warehouse on the following tasks:
-Furniture assembly
-Warehouse organization
-Data entry
As an on-call mover, we occasionally need extra movers to assist with home stagings on an on-call basis, meaning that we would keep your name on a contact list and reach out when we have a job to offer to you.
*You may express interest in just the warehouse assistant position, in just the on-call moving position, or in both! We would be delighted to have people who can fulfill both needs!*
Qualifications:
-Preferred: possess a reliable laptop or tablet that could be used for web-based data entry work in the warehouse.
-Must be dependable, professional, polite, and work well with others.
-Must have a good attitude and willingness to learn.
-Must be adaptable.
-Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
-Must speak English (speaking Spanish is a plus.)
-Social Security Number.
-Must be able to pass a background check.
-Must have a smartphone.
Compensation:
Temporary warehouse assistant (warehouse work), will be paid at a rate of 15.00/hour.
On-call mover (moving work) will be paid at a rate of 100.00/house.
