Description
Do You Have Knee Osteoarthritis? IF YES: Researchers at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine are looking for volunteers to participate in a research study on combining medications to reduce pain.
You may be eligible if you:
- Are 45 years or older
- Have been diagnosed with Knee Osteoarthritis
- Do not have other serious medical conditions
- Are not currently using opioid ("narcotic") pain medication
This study involves:
- 5 visits to Johns Hopkins Bayview Campus, 4 of which take up to 8 hours
- Interviews and questionnaires
- Sensory testing
- Physical function testing
- Medication administration
All study sessions, parking, & tests provided at no cost. Compensation up to $1425 for those who are eligible and complete all aspects of the study.
