Job Title: Material Handler
Job Summary: Responsible for performing a variety of tasks in managing hazardous and non-hazardous wastes. Under direct supervision, tasks could include all types of labor in receiving and unloading bulk and containerized packages, inventory and warehousing of packaging using a forklift and loading devices, processing including pumping, dumping, repacking and depacking, shipping bulk and containerized packages
Education/Experience: High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) preferred
Prior work experience of 3 to 6 months in the hazardous waste or chemical industry in a related position with proficiency in handling forklifts and a variety of tools preferred
Certification/Licenses: 40-Hour HAZWOPER training preferred
Veolia will train employees to meet these requirements.
Shift:Shift Work; Candidates must be willing to work swing or graveyard shifts including weekends and holidays.
Pay Range: $19 - $24/hr
