Hi folks…early fifties white guy here. I’ve made a commitment to myself to find ways to include more African Americans in my life, and I figured there are probably some who read the CL postings who might be interested. It seems to me that so much of the racial issues in the world are a result of simply not being familiar with different cultures and experiences from that of our own. So, I’m looking for opportunities to get to know more African Americans, and learn more about how the world looks from their perspective, etc. If anyone reading this is interested in my idea, I’d sure appreciate hearing from you. Maybe we could plan to grab some coffee together and just have some good conversations, exchange thoughts, etc. I’m open to ideas. Thank you, and I hope to hear from some folks!
