Description
The Inventory Distribution Assistant ensures par supply levels in the Warehouse and Nursing Homes via delivery/messenger errands and basic handyperson tasks. The work requires familiarity with dialysis equipment and related stock items and the ability to make accurate counts in receiving and issuing and is performed under general supervision and is checked by observation, physical counts, and a review of records. This position is responsible for ordering/tracking supplies and safely operate the company vehicle in accordance with company policy and transportation laws.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:
1) Administrative
Fills order from dialysis facilities for a variety medical supplies;
Assembles and delivers equipment and supplies;
Performs basic handyperson tasks;
Disassembles and re-packs broken equipment;
Receives shipments and stores supplies;
Confirms supply shipments received and reconciles any discrepancies;
Coordinates procurement of rental equipment;
Picks up mail; and
Performs messenger services.
2) Education
Attends team meetings and takes minutes as requested; and
Ensures all required regulatory training attained annual.
3) Performs similar or related duties as requested or directed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Education
High School diploma or GED; and
AA degree preferred.

Exemplary interpersonal skills; able to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with diverse backgrounds and different organizational levels.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS :
Valid Driver’s license.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Able to sit and work at computer for extended periods of time;
Walk, sit, lift no more than 50 pounds;
Must be willing to travel to network facilities and sites as needed.
