Essel Environmental has an immediate need for 40 hour Hazwoper Certified individuals to assist with oil spill cleanup in Orange County, California. Job Responsibilities: Utilize small hand-tools, absorbent booms and pads to contain and remediate impacted soils and waters. Perform manual work requiring periods of extensive physical exertion Must have the ability to carry out written and oral instructions Be able to meet the work schedule with dependability and consistency. Assist in the set up and tear down of job site. Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Must be available to start immediately 40 hour Hazwoper Certificate REQUIRED and related oil spill cleanup experience strongly preferred Familiar with computers/tablets for entering data and using basic programs Valid Driver’s license High School Diploma/ GED The ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends when needed Reliable local transportation Team members are frequently required to wear PPE, such as face masks, respirators and protective clothing
