We are a glazing contractor currently accepting applications for the following position: seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working apprentice - will train. The ideal candidate has the ability to work independently and is a self-starter. We are looking for someone who has a can-do attitude and who works well with others. Opportunity for advancement. Looking for full time employee. No experience necessary. Must have an excellent driving record and a valid driver's license with excellent driving experience to be considered. Must have reliable transportation. You must bring a current DMV "Driver Record Request" printout with you when applying. You can get these online from the DMV. Must be able to work in the USA. OC Glazing uses E-verify. Job Duties: Shop - receives and inspects shipments by visually inspecting goods; reports damages to supervisor. Loading and unloading. Move product throughout the shop as needed. Organizing, sorting, stocking and pulling materials. Clean and maintain shop and supplies, tools, equipment and storage areas. Completes other duties as assigned. Be able to repeatedly lift a minimum of 100 pounds on a daily basis, including constant bending and stretching. Must speak and read English. Field - to train as a Glazing Apprentice to work in the field - must have reliable transportation. Worksites throughout Orange County, LA County and Riverside County. Job offers are conditional only on acceptable verification of employment status through E-verify, successfully passing a drug screen and a physical exam due to the physical nature of the work, must be able to lift heavy items, work at heights on ladders, a verified excellent driving record, and other considerations as they may apply to the position. Hourly Pay is based upon experience.
