GC/Developer is looking for a Project Accountant for an upcoming residential new construction project. This candidate must have 10-20 years experience in accounting, with at least 5-10 years working specifically on construction projects. This candidate will be responsible collecting subcontractor documentation, making sure to collect signed contracts, w-9, COIs that list all additionally insured parties, invoices, and lien waivers for all payments. He/she will work closely with the Senior Project Manager, making sure subcontractor selections are within the construction budget prior to the PM releasing subcontractor agreements, as well as draft and release all change orders that may be needed throughout the duration of the project. This candidate will work closely with the Senior PM to ensure work is moving in the field, so as to be able to collect on all bank inspections that take place, keeping the cash flow flowing.
