**NOW OFFERING $500 SIGN ON BONUS** Job details Up to $1000 a week Job Type Full-time Number of hires for this role 5+ We are looking for Cable TV, Phone and Internet service installers. 2-5 years *Experience in all 3 product areas preferred. Must provide former employment references. Tech will need have at least a basic knowledge of communication industry. Technician will be expected to complete all jobs in the amount of time allotted. Quality workmanship is a must. Typical hand tools will be the responsibility of the technician. Technician will be expected to work primarily in the South suburbs and Northwest Indiana area but may be required to travel from time to time. Positions also available in greater St. Louis, MO area. Techs must have a basic knowledge of installing CAT5E and RG6 for Cable TV, Internet and Telephone products. Techs will need to be able pull and terminate cabling in both residential and commercial buildings. Tech must have a basic knowledge of telephony. Tech will need to know color codes for voice and data cabling. Troubleshooting skills is a must. Tech must have good computer skills with Microsoft Windows. Tech must possess the following tools: Side cutters Wire Strippers Set of screw drivers (Philips and standard) Punch Tool with 66/110 blades Fish rods for pulling and dropping cables in walls Cordless drill with drill bits Tone generator and wand Continuity tester Butt-set Pliers Tape Measure Smart Phone The basic requirements that must be met are as follows: Must have own transportation, preferably an white service vehicle. Must have valid Driver's License and Social Security Card. Must have a good driving record. Willingness to travel. Must pass pre-employment drug test. Able to work outdoors in extreme heat, cold, rain, snow etc. Not afraid of heights when climbing ladders, using scissor lifts or getting into attics, etc. Able to lift and carry 75lbs. Must also be able to pass a criminal background check. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
