HELPER/SANDBLASTER Apply Here: Job Summary The helper/sandblaster is responsible for shoveling or pouring sand, grit, or other abrasive material into the machine to operate, and monitoring and maintaining an adequate supply of the abrasive in the hopper while adhering to safety standards. The helper/sandblaster will also help with various general duties around the shop whenever necessary. Role and Responsibilities: Set up and operate a blast booth or similar equipment Load and unload the blast cabinet Keep work area clean and orderly, and ensure any unsafe working conditions are corrected or reported immediately Always wear proper safety equipment and comply with company safety rules Perform minor adjustments, daily preventative maintenance, or setups to equipment Produce consistent and quality finish according to specification Other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements: Previous sandblasting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Must be able to read and interpret manufacturers and engineers instructions Working knowledge or manual and power hand tools Great communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment Able to lift up to 50 lbs Education: High school diploma or equivalent Technical certification preferred Combination of education and experience will also be considered Apply here:
