As a garment sewer at Don Kaka, you will contribute to history by sewing the greatest clothes known to humankind. We are looking for an experienced sewing assistant to work alongside Don helping with cutting and sewing of various garments, someone who is detail-oriented, hard working, and of high integrity. Our work environment has very chill vibes, but we expect you to bring your A game! We have an immediate need for a part-time sewer who can operate industrial overlock and single needle machines. Flexible schedule, 1-2 days a week to start, pay starts at $20/hour + gas. - Must have experience with industrial single needle sewing machine and industrial serger/overlock machines. - Experience with embroidery machines, pattern making, draping, and general knowledge in the field is a big plus as well but not necessary. - Must be able to come to Sherman Oaks You can check out the type of clothes we make here: donkaka.com If interested shoot me a text with some examples of your past work and we can set up a phone call.
