Cover band looking for backing vocalist - we're jam band musicians that do easily recognizable covers in different genres -such as Americana, 80s, Motown, Oldies, Bluegrass. Jam band basically means we do our own interpretations of the songs and there will be extended improvisations - but we do not plan to cover jam band genre songs (not a Grateful Dead or Phish cover band). We're in our 40s. backing vocalist. We're playing a party in Costa Mesa Sunday October 10th afternoon if you're interested. Here's a playlist of stuff we do. Some of the rehearsal stuff on here are first takes, pretty sloppy, we were just learning the songs so not much effort put into the vocals and jams.
