This is a flexible, remote English teaching opportunity. Learn-to is an online tutoring platform recently absorbed by Bussu.com. Learn-to is designed to teach both children and adults. Our teachers are earning, on average, $40 - $50 an hour per 1:1 class and up to $150 an hour per group class. We are looking for passionate online English tutors aiming to build their online education business. **If you are looking for a full-time employment in a traditional school, this might not be an ideal place for you. Responsibility: Be your own boss. Classes available 24/7, 365 days a year Understand the needs of students and prepare the classes for your students' need. Teach a variety of classes online via Zoom. Teach one-to-one classes of 25 min and 50 min. You can even customize the duration of your 1-to-1 or group classes from 25 min to 110 min. Benefits: Flexible scheduling. Tell us which days and times you want to tutor, and we'll match you students who can fit in your schedule. All tutoring is done online, so there is no commuting for you! Teachers with potential will be arranged a mentor who are going to share with you the know-how of success on Bussu.com. They are all successful teachers earning $6,000 - $12,000 a month. You will be a good fit if you possess the following qualities: Fully fluent English speaker (C2) It is not a must to have relevant teaching certificate (such as TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, ESOL, etc.) but it is an advantage to show your profession in teaching to students. 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience (face-to-face / online) - First time teachers are also welcome to undergo a one-week intensive preparedness training program. A Bachelor degree is not a must. We welcome undergraduate students to apply. Fluent in a second language, such as French, Spanish, Korean or Japanese, is not necessary but a HUGE plus. You are at ease with technology, and able to adapt when things don't go as planned Flexibility and adaptability to switch things up when a lesson plan doesn't work You have a real passion for education, and it shows in your work Technical Requirements: Desktop computer or a laptop with a webcam. Our platform works with either PC or Mac-based machines. Tablets and mobiles are not suitable. Stable internet connection. In an online environment a strong connection is everything. You should have a stable Wi-Fi connection or a cable internet connection. It is recommended that teachers use headsets, as built-in microphones and speakers do not provide enough quality for smooth communication with students.
