Local Wilmington, NC company needs to fill multiple installer positions in our glass shower installation department. Previous experience preferred. $20-26 / hr based on experience - WE NEED LEAD INSTALLERS AND WILL PAY GOOD COMPENSATION! Will train motivated individuals with no previous experience - compensation at $16 - $18 / hr for "glass technician helper" role. Job description -- Perform high-end, custom glass and mirror installations from start to finish, including layout, design, and measurements. -- Provide glass sizes for both framed and frameless showers and steam units. -- Measure custom mirror walls and cut holes for outlets and polish edges by hand. -- Perform glass fabrication in the shop and in the field. -- Install product according to the specifications outlined in the scope of work. -- Load and unload product ensuring safety and quality protocols are followed. -- Complete every installation according to company expectations and leave each job site in an orderly and clean manner. Requirements: -- Proficient in hand tool operation and measuring experience needed. -- Previous experience in the construction/building field. -- Must possess a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record that meets company driver requirements. -- Excellent problem-solving, communication skills, time management, and attention to detail. Physical Requirements: -- Standing, walking, use of hands, reaching, stooping/kneeling/crouching, lifting up to 10 lbs frequently. -- Sitting, Lifting between 25 - 100 lbs. infrequently -- We conduct background checks and new­ hire and random drug testing Schedule: -- 7am­-4pm with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and OT as business needs require.
