ASIST is a two-day workshop that teaches how to intervene and save a life from suicide. Over a million people around the world have participated in this award-winning program. Most people thinking about suicide don’t actually want to die, but they need help deciding to stay alive. You don’t need any prior training to attend ASIST—just a willingness to make a difference.
This training will be in-person and will abide by COVID-safe guidelines. Masks must be worn throughout the training. The group size will be limited to allow for social distancing. Participants are encouraged to go offsite for lunch.
When: Thursday, November 11th and Friday, November 12th, 2021
8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Where: Bethany United Methodist Church
2875 Bethany Lane, Ellicott City, MD
Cost: $30 per person for people who live or work in Howard County. $100 per person for those outside of Howard County.
