Full-time, 40 hours per week, OUTDOOR janitorial/cleaning/maintenance position for condominium association on Hutchinson Island. Responsible for performing general outdoor groundskeeping and upkeep of building. EOE, DFWP – must be able to pass a background check. Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age.
Must be dependable and punctual.
Must be legally able to work in the U.S.
Must have a reasonable ability to read and speak English.
Must have valid Florida driver license.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be able to work outdoors, in the heat.
Essential Duties:
Maintain grounds, including collecting outdoor trash and plant material from parking lots, pest control and some pool maintenance.
Perform cleaning activities such as window washing, sweeping, vacuuming, trash removal, etc.; this will include responsibility for trash dumpsters and trash chutes.
Perform general maintenance tasks that do not require a specialized repair person, such as painting, basic plumbing, electrical, drywall and carpentry.
Follow scheduled list of maintenance tasks, work on assigned projects with minimal supervision and make decisions based on individual skills.
Inspect and maintain assigned equipment, perform minor repairs as needed, keep repair tools and supplies clean and organized.
Detect and repair basic problems with building systems.
Report repair or maintenance problems beyond authority to supervisor.
Assist with emergencies when needed.
Maintain daily work log of projects.
