Loving, low maintenance dog needs home

Rehoming our dog Purdy Girl with heavy hearts. She is so sweet and gentle. Loyal and non-aggressive to humans. Possibly aggressive towards other dogs that she does not know but we are not 100% sure. Very low maintenance. She does not play in any way shape or form. We believe she is a little mentally disabled from the situation we rescued her from originally- we believe she was a breeder which is why she may have some hostility towards unknown dogs. Her #1 favorite things is to be pet! Physical contact creates a close bond with her. She never, ever goes on the furniture or chews. She is one of the least barking dogs we’ve ever known. She only barks at perceived danger when someone foreign comes to the door but never besides that. She’s obedient and stops when told to stop. We know she’d protect us with her life so she makes a wonderful watch dog. But to anyone familiar she is there to receive love and will lick your hands if you don’t know what she’s at your feet waiting on- again obedient and if told to go lay down and she will. Everyone who knows her adores her and calls her the smiling dog. She got her name Purdy Girl because that is the only thing I could think to say to her when we rescued her and she was so malnourished yet beautiful. We’ve loved her deeply and are so heartbroken to let her go. She’s a wonderful fit for a family with young children or perhaps someone older looking for companionship and protection. Thanks to PETA I’ve been alarmed to not give her away free. My how times have changed. There will be a rehoming fee of $200 for her protection. We love this dog and expect you to love her too.
