Small trucking company in Jacksonville looking for an experienced chassis mechanic that's able to handle Brakes, Lights and Tires. These are semi-truck tires and chassis.
Other responsibilities would be fitting flexi-bags into 20ft containers, training provided. Also, keeping the yard clean as well as keeping our equipment on the yard in shape. Basically anything we need you to do throughout the day. Could be as simple as a road-call or fixing some lights on the yard or even re-tarping a 40ft open-top container.
We have our own equipment which will need to be maintained daily/weekly. This includes 20/40ft standard chassis as well as 20ft Triaxle chassis and a few 20ft tank chassis.
We're looking for somebody that takes pride in their work and doesn't mind when things get hectic. This can be a fast-paced work environment but you're also left to your own to manage the yard and equipment. We need someone that can manage their time throughout the day without having to have someone check on them several times making sure work is being done. Again, take pride in your work!
