Bass player needed for an original band. Must have gear and reliable transportation. Strong funk and rock foundation would be ideal. The ability to sing is strongly preferred however, it's not an absolute deal-breaker if the following needs are satisfied. Availability to rehearse once a week is a necessity. We do quite a bit of traveling (mostly the southeast at the moment but we're planning to expand and be out more frequently next year). This is not a pick-up gig, a working cover band (however we do maintain a busy schedule), or a hobby. This is a career opportunity so a firm commitment to this project is required. Not saying this is the only band you can play with, but a flexible schedule and willingness to be a part of the team is absolutely the expectation. Partying is acceptable as long as it isn't problematic. We all engage in moderation and like to have a good time. That being said, there's zero tolerance for drinking/drug-related mishaps. We continually work hard to build our network and grow this into something beyond ourselves. The goal of this band is to have everyone involved feeling fulfilled both creatively and professionally. We want our music to create a culture and we're confident with the right members it absolutely will!
