CBE's Holiday Tradition is Back - Handel's Messiah! Dec. 18 & 19, 2021 **Please note that due to time constraints enforced by the venue, we will be presenting a shortened version in Fort Collins, featuring many of the most popular choruses and arias. If you would like to hear the entire "Messiah," please attend our performance in Denver on Sunday. Quite likely the most beloved choral work of all time, Handel’s Messiah, has been performed annually all over the world since its premiere in Dublin in 1742. After a year off in 2020 due to the pandemic, Colorado Bach Ensemble is thrilled to continue this festive Holiday tradition! We will present two performances this December, giving Colorado audiences an inspiring and exhilarating experience of this magnificent work! Joining the professional chorus/orchestra are some of the country’s premier Baroque soloists from right here in Colorado! This is one you won't want to miss! COVID-19 PROTOCOLS & POLICIES We are thrilled to welcome you to our concerts & to be performing for a live audience again! Colorado Bach Ensemble will require that all concert attendees over the age of 12 are fully vaccinated with your full course of COVID-19 shots at least 14 days before the event. Please be prepared to present your vaccination card at the door. In addition, ALL attendees 2+ will be required to wear a mask at all times while indoors.If you are unable to adhere to these protocols, we encourage you to attend another CBE concert when these policies are lifted.Colorado Bach Ensemble will continue to re-evaluate our COVID-19 policies and protocols throughout the season.Contact [email protected] with any questions. Colorado Bach Ensemble is dedicated to performing and promoting the music of Johann Sebastian Bach and his contemporaries with a special focus on Bach's vocal masterpiecies. Under the guidance of artistic director, James Kim, Colorado Bach Ensemble's mission is to study and perform Bach's music in the spirit and with the grace of the Baroque style, to grow the audience for Bach's music through concerts, recording, and tours, and to cultivate a deep appreciation for Bach's music through engaging educational programs.
