I let Sunny fly free in a small space. I've got an extra cage for a newbie until the newbie gets to know the ropes. I don't want to adopt a young cockatiel: rather, I'd like an older cockatiel or a budgie or a canary or a parakeet or maybe a different bird. Looking for a bird not expected to live longer than 15 years, as I'm an old bird myself; even a bird who has a pretty short lifespan.
