Reel: https://youtu.be/r7Zn8J683S4 Check out our IG if you want as well, we have 100s of clips there of us playing live over the last year and a half @kingcrash_ We have 2 live albums out, one on streaming services and another on bandcamp through a small label in England. We have a studio album we want to release soon and a lot of developed material that includes composed sections as well as improvised sections. We have 3 albums under a previous band name. We play original material. Our rehearsal space is in Bushwick and we gig all over the city. It’s very ‘60s.’ Hendrix and Zeppelin with more funk and fusion, including some modern jazz and odd meters. We need someone with good time, a good ear, highly developed harmony and rhythm, taste, chops, facility, and great sound and feel in rock, funk, and swing. It’s primarily electric, but it would be great to include upright also. We prefer 4 string precision sound, more Motown than slap, but we are open. You will be heavily featured and we want what you bring to the table. I pay 50 for rehearsals and 100 for local gigs, then anything that pays over 500 I pay 25%. The extra 25% I keep is to pay for expenses. At this point everything is a necessity to push towards a level of success we feel is attainable, and it is a team effort. There are possible road trips and tours in the near future. It’s a trio (guitar/vox, drums, bass). We have academic and professional experience and need a bassist with high end musicianship who is available, hard working, and would be ready to prioritize this band if and when opportunities arise. That can happen very quickly, but in the meantime we still need commitment and availability, specifically on fridays and saturdays. There is a lot of material that it would take time to learn as well as time to develop together as a band. For now there is a gig next Thursday that we could prepare for to kick things off if you show up fast. If this is not realistic for you, that is fine but please don’t waste our time. I’m not paying a hired hand. I’m investing in a band member. We’ve had reoccurring issues with our current bassist and think it is time to address them. We are laid back, personable, understanding and fun, but this is business for us and we take it seriously. Please send clips and samples, text or email is best. Ryan
