Hello - I'm putting together a Lionel Richie tribute show for Thursday October 28th at Shrine in Harlem. I have drums and bass, looking for EITHER a versatile guitarist or keyboardist to round out the sound. (I'll play acoustic rhythm guitar or mandolin while singing lead.) This will require 2 rehearsals, so looking for someone who already knows his material (including a few Commodores tunes). I'm programming 11-12 songs, so rehearsals could be upwards of 3 hours - depending on how quickly we all "gel" as an ensemble. And the gig will be about 1 1/2 hours. Pay is $75 guaranteed - PLUS we'll get a % of bar sales AND they'll also pass a tip jar the night of show. So potential for $100 or more each. (There is no cover, so hoping audience will be generous!) Please send a video of your playing if you're interested.
