The Travis Park Skating Rink is HIRING FOR THE WINTER! * The rink will be opening November 19, 2021 - January 17, 2022 We're looking for outgoing and enthusiastic people with big smiles. Providing excellent customer service and a positive experience for all is our number one priority. ALL EMPLOYEES MUST: 1. Have outgoing, friendly, customer service oriented personalities 2. Have the physical ability to walk, stand, bend, twist and lift on a daily basis 3. Keep their work areas and the rink clean at all times 4. Have a willingness to help in all areas of operation 5. Be reliable, responsible, and respectful to everyone 6. Follow all safety procedures Available Positions: SKATE MONITORS • Must know how to ice skate (figure or hockey) • Knowledge of basic first aid is a plus CASHIERS • Great communication skills are a must • Previous cashier experience a plus, preferably on a touch screen POS system • Ability to process all cash and credit card transactions quickly and efficiently in a high-volume setting SKATE RENTAL ASSOCIATES • Ability to learn the operation of skate rental quickly and be able to communicate it to guests effectively • Including, but not limited to handing out, collecting, sanitizing and restocking skates; maintaining order and rotation of skates; know available sizes; know how our sizes compare to regular shoe sizes; keeping skate shop clean and tidy at all times HOST • Great communication skills are a must, previous host experience a plus • Answer general questions about the rink • Ability to help all incoming guests by verifying skate time and amount of skaters inside the ice rink • Ability to help guests purchasing online tickets on-site TO APPLY: 1.
