Vintage travel trailer and rv shop looking for a part time shop assistant. Looking for the following: Availability: Three (3) days a week (Shop is open 6 days a week. You set your own schedule.) Shifts available: (You pick your shift times.) A) 8:00 am - 2:00pm B) 9:00 am - 3:00 pm C) 10: 00 am - 4:00pm Requirements: - Show up on time - Common sense is a MUST - Fast thinker - Follow Directions - Read a tape measure - Draw straight lines - Knowledge of shop tools and/or operation of basic shop tools - Lift equipment (50 lbs + ) - Stand on your feet for long durations at a time - Be confident working 5' to 14' off ground (at times) - Work outside without complaining - Be able to start and stop projects and bounce between various projects during the day * Must be fully vaccinated (i.e 2 shots) and show proof of vaccination card. This is non debatable! * Must be 18 years or older * Must have own transportation * Must speak English Any of the following will be deemed termination of employment. One strike policy. Shop has ZERO tolerance for the following. Lying Stealing Failure to admit mistakes when they happen Failure to show up on time Failure to be professional at all times Showing up to work high or hung over is completely unacceptable and non negotiable ** If you are a smoker - one smoke break during the 6 hour daily work schedule will be allowed Prior experience in any of the following areas will increase compensation: RV Systems: Electrical (12V + 110), Solar, Water, Propane Carpentry: Basic cabintery, wood working, building etc (send pictures of projects completed). Welding: Aluminum welding + chassis welding Polishing: Aluminum 2024 T3, 5052 Axles: removal and install of new axles
