Pre-launch catering company seeks an experienced and creative freelance chef to assist us with menu planning and recipe testing in advance of launching our business to the public. You must be experienced with on & off-premises NYC event catering, especially creating stylish canapés and current trends of food styling and plating. *Attention to detail and food safety/quality is a must! This is a 3 day project, approximately 4-6 hours per day. DAY 1: 12PM-4PM Menu Planning (no cooking.) DAY 2: 12PM-6PM Recipe Testing (in commissary kitchen) DAY 3: 12PM-6PM Recipe Testing (in commissary kitchen) This project can absolutely lead to additional, freelance catering gigs— let’s create a successful working relationship!
