Our trainers, kennel staff, cleaners and office staff all work together to create a safe environment for the dogs that are training with us. Working as a Cleaning Technician: Our Cleaning Crew are a very important part of the organization. Cleaning Technicians are responsible for the cleanliness of our facility, which directly affects the health and safety of the dogs in our care during training. They work alongside a large variety of dogs everyday in a fast-paced environment, making sure the dogs that train with us are safe and happy! We are currently looking for full and part-time Cleaning Technicians who are able to work efficiently with a team or independently, are excited about contributing to our mission and are looking for a dynamic environment with a variety of tasks. There is opportunity for the right person to move into our management structure after joining our team and learning our processes. Duties: Sanitizing house and grounds Feeding and watering dogs Bathing dogs Washing kennels Doing laundry Washing dishes Power-washing equipment and areas Sweeping and mopping Required: Must be very comfortable working alongside dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments Ability to work well with others as a team Ability to work efficiently without direct supervision Great communication skills Flexible schedule - available to work as early as 6am and as late as 11pm Holiday availability (rotating) Have a working cell phone Have a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation Reliable and responsible Preferred: Previous experience working in cleaning Previous experience working in an environment with animals Rate of Pay: Compensation starts at $14-$16/hour depending on experience. Pay raises are based on reliability and ability to complete tasks efficiently, not on time spent working with us. So bring a good attitude and work ethic, and we are happy to increase pay correspondingly! This is also a great place to grow in skills and responsibilities.
