Our mission is to promote and strengthen the bond between doggies and their owners through education, consistency, and effective practical training and to teach people how to safely and humanely train their doggies to be reliable, fun loving companions. Our trainers, kennel staff, cleaners and office staff all work together to create a safe environment for the dogs that are training with us. Working as an Kennel Attendant: Our Kennel Attendant’s are a very important part of the organization. Kennel Attendants are responsible for the health and safety of the dogs in our care during training. They work with a large variety of dogs everyday in a fast-paced environment, learning our renowned training techniques and making sure the dogs that train with us are safe and happy! We are currently looking for full and part-time Kennel Attendants who are excited to gain more experience working with animals, are able to work efficiently with a team or independently, and are looking for a dynamic environment with a variety of tasks. We offer a very wide range of working hours and are happy to work with you around school schedules. Duties: Shifting dogs out for exercise Shifting dogs out following strict potty schedules Enforcing basic obedience training Feeding and watering Bathing Required: Must be very comfortable working with dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments Ability to work well with others as a team Ability to work efficiently without direct supervision Great communication skills Flexible schedule - available to work as early as 6am and as late as 11pm Holiday availability (rotating) Have a working cell phone Have a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation Reliable and responsible Preferred: Previous experience working with dogs, but we are happy to train the right candidate! Rate of Pay: Compensation starts at $14-$16/hour depending on experience. Pay raises are based on reliability and ability to complete tasks efficiently, not on time spent working with us. So bring a good attitude and work ethic, and we are happy to increase pay correspondingly! This is also a great place to grow in skills and responsibilities.
