In Her Shoes is an experiential exercise where participants move, do, think, and experience the lives of domestic violence survivors. Please join the Dallas County Domestic Violence Coalition (DVAC) in honoring Domestic Violence Awareness Month by participating in the experiential In Her Shoes training. We are offering this FREE training option IN PERSON, in the lovely Meadows District parking lot, courtesy of DVAC partner, Dallas Area Rape Crisis Center (DARCC). Domestic violence statistics in Texas: In 2019, 185 Texans were killed as a result of domestic violence. 1 in 3 Texans will experience domestic violence in their lifetimes. *We do ask that participants wear their masks in the interest of safety. The facilitators will clean all materials during the training process.
