Rutgers Environmental Steward 2019, Virginia was an educator and middle school principal in public and independant schools for forty years in Manhattan and Brooklyn, NY and Cambridge and Boston, MA. She has been interested in global warming and climate change since the 1980's. Virginia has an M.A. from Teacher's College, Columbia University, was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Liberia and is a member of the NGO, Friends of Liberia. She will serve as moderator for the symposium.
