Climate Enthusiasts San Antonio invites you for an interfaith tree planting event with shared reflections from diverse traditions
Interfaith tree planting event is a wonderful initiative organized by CESA, youth members of the Raindrop community and their interfaith partners. At this event, people from different faiths and cultures will come together to share and listen to each faith/culture perspective and teaching as well as share best practices from different traditions to protect our planet.
Tree Planting Event - Agenda
2:30 - 3:00 pm - Welcome and opening remarks, followed by reflections from diverse traditions
3:00 - 5:30 pm - Tree planting demonstration/training followed by Tree Planting
Location: 4337 Vance Jackson Rd Ste 203, San Antonio, TX 78230
Planting area is next to the parking lot.
This event is organized in coordination with the Compassion Tree Project core team, the Parks and Recreation Department of the City of San Antonio.

High school students can receive volunteer hours for the time they spend planting trees.
Raindrop Foundation San Antonio (RFSA) is a non-profit educational, charitable, social, and cultural organization founded by Turkish-Americans affiliated with Hizmet Movement. RFSA serves the greater San Antonio community and promotes dialogue through its events and programs to build mutual understanding, respect, and cooperation. RFSA provides unique services to contribute to global peace at the grassroots level. RFSA further encourages joint service and charity projects to meet the needs of our city.
