On November 11th, join Steph Spiers, founder and executive director of the community solar nonprofit Solstice, in Alnoba's beautiful Great Room for an inspiring conversation about her experiences, trials and successes making renewable energy available to those left out of the climate revolution. Steph is the recipient of the 2019 Alnoba Environmental Award for Emerging Environmental Entrepreneur. She thinks about solar the way one might think about a community garden. Why go through the trouble of planting panels on your roof when you could instead plug into a shared neighborhood resource to access financial savings? She previously led sales and marketing innovation initiatives in India at d.light, a solar products company powering areas without reliable electricity; spearheaded Acumen’s renewable energy impact investment strategy in Pakistan; developed Middle East policy as the youngest policy director at the White House National Security Council; and managed field operations in seven states for the first Obama presidential campaign. At this special event, join Steph for an intimate chat about her amazing experiences and the fight to protect our planet for future generations.
