Hello, I am currently a student at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. I was looking for volunteer opportunities through the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. I saw there is currently an opportunity using trail cameras called Snapshot Wisconsin Trail Camera. I was wondering if anyone wanted to team up with me and have a camera placed on their private or public property, and I would submit all the required forms with your permission. Unfortunately, the DNR requires the land to be 10 contiguous acres and in a zone not already covered. I would love to do this survey but I don't have access to 10 acres of land, so I am seeking land owners' permission to participate in the DNR study. If you're interested training, and equipment is provided free of charge to accepted volunteers. We would just need to check the trail cameras once every 90 days.
