Rescued Syrian Hamster, female. 6mos old. Very friendly, easy to handle. She has been fine with children and handling. She is adorable, super fluffy, and enjoys collecting seeds. She loves her sandbath and is obsessed with her silent wheel. She is free to a good home if you can provide evidence of a suitable enclosure and wheel. Hamsters need at least 500sq inches (bin cages, 40gal or larger tanks, prevue etc) and a 9inch wheel. Alternatively, you may take her home in a suitable bin with fresh bedding, a wheel, a sandbath with fresh, clean sand (reptile no-calcium no dye sterilized sand) and 2 weeks of food for cost of materials ($60 - bin is a 50gal bin with a fully ventilated lid with metal mesh, light and easy to move). Hamsters are solitary and therefore humans make great best buddies for them. They run 6-9 miles a night on their wheels, and are mostly nocturnal - perfect for anyone that keeps late nights.
