Presentation of Congressional Record honoring Bob Campos, Dr. Jim Ramirez & Latino Center of the Midlands. During Hispanic Heritage Month, two local men and a non-profit organization will be honored by Rep. Don Bacon and inducted into the inaugural Nebraska Hispanic Hall of Fame in collaboration with the NE Hispanic Chamber of Commerce: Robert “Bob” Campos, Dr. James “Jim” Ramirez, and the Latino Center of the Midlands. Rep. Bacon delivered remarks on the House floor on Tuesday, September 28, 2021. “Many Latino Leaders’ untold stories deserve to be highlighted and celebrated with a permanent home. The Nebraska Hispanic Hall of Fame will be considered among the highest honors for Latinos in Nebraska who have made a positive impact in our State. I am honored to establish this inspiring annual tradition for our Hispanic community.” Bacon will present the Congressional Record copies of the floor remarks in a presentation announced for Friday, October 8, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. at Isla del Mar Restaurante in Omaha.
