Skilled Maintenance Technician Compensation: $15-$20/hr (DOE) Employment type: Part-time (20-25 hours a week) Yakima Real Estate Investment & Property Management Company seeks reliable, motivated and hard-working maintenance technician for immediate hire. Qualified candidates must have basic construction skills and knowledge, own their own tools, possess a valid drivers license with good driving record, have a reliable truck or van, be organized, and be able to effectively communicate with others with a positive attitude. Must be a team player! Qualifications: Prior maintenance experience in property management strongly preferred, but not required Proficient in unit turns is a plus Excellent customer service skills Strong team player Willingness to learn and take initiative on tasks and projects Appliance repair skills Ability to trouble shoot requests Task oriented Must be local to the Yakima area, due to icy winters and the need to respond to tenant repairs in an expeditious manner. Required skills: Plumbing Flooring and tiling Countertops Roofing Drywall Electrical Cabinetry Painting (Interior and Exterior) Handyman and general repair/maintenance work Background Check & Drug Screen Policy We conduct background checks and drug screens in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws. Candidates will be asked to authorize these screenings.
