Description

PFTS is searching for several volunteers for the Southeast Adaptive Mountain Biking Tour. Made possible by a Dralla grant, the City of Greensboro in partnership with Catalyst Sports is hosting an adaptive mountain bike ride for athletes with physical disabilities. Piedmont Fat Tire Society needs to find 20 volunteers who mountain bike and have a passion for sharing their sport with others. Please register to volunteer with Catalyst Sports here. Volunteers will be riding along side our athletes assisting with creating a fun and safe environment. Therefore, we do ask that the volunteer to have experience mountain biking. Also, Catalyst is unable to provide standard mountain bikes so each volunteer will need to bring their own bike. There will be a mandatory training on Friday evening from 6-8pm prior to the event at each location. These trainings are identical so you will only need to attend one. Volunteers must be age 12+ to attend this event. Anyone aged 12-15 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian during the entire session. RSVP is not required on this site - you must register here. The Piedmont Fat Tire Society is dedicated to the education, promotion, and enrichment of sustainable mountain biking trails and the communities they serve. Nonprofit, 501(c)3
