A local aggregate company is looking for a bi-lingual scale house attendant. This is a seasonal position March/April-November.
Position Summary: The Scale Attendant position is responsible for attending truck scales at an aggregate site. This position performs a variety of operational, record-keeping and clerical tasks with defined procedures.
Essential Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Responsible for keeping the supervisor informed of all incoming trucks and traffic flow
•Spot Check Loads
• Ensures all paperwork (weight tickets, control forms, trucking invoices, and billing of lading) are signed and completed
• Collects established fees for cash sales
• Maintain scale house and keep grounds clean/organized
• Observes safety rules and attends appropriate training
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications: • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) •
