Description
The people of Minneapolis across race, age and neighborhood deserve to be and feel safe. Following the murder of George Floyd last summer, we witnessed the movement for Black Lives spark a global unified voice to make concrete changes now, so that we can all have true safety — and it all started in Minneapolis.
Together, we must amend the city charter that was written in 1961 by the Police Federation, forcing us to build on a broken system of violent, armed police-only response. Our movement demands our city leaders move toward a comprehensive, higher standard in public safety, where qualified professionals, like mental health responders and social workers, as well as police, can work to make all our communities safer.
We marched. We organized. And now we get to vote. We are hiring canvassers to spread the message and have our voice be heard. We are paying $20per hour paid weekly. Please email Ryan or text Name an number to 347-460-5462 (No calls phone interviews will be set up)
