Job description Moore Twining Associates, Inc. has a history dating back to 1898 and has grown into a multi-disciplined consulting firm with six divisions specializing in Construction Inspection, Materials Testing, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Services, Drilling Services and Analytical Chemistry. Our staff consists of Professional Engineers, Registered Geologists, Environmental Assessors, Certified Inspectors, Chemists, Drillers and Administrators. Moore Twining is currently recruiting an Drillers Helper in our Fresno, California Corporate Office. Candidates must have the following: - Ability to pass physical, drug screen and background check - Available to work overtime and weekends - Available for overnight/out of town work - Mechanical and/or welding skills Candidates are NOT required, but preferred to have the following: - Valid California Class B Driver’s license - Welding and metal work Job Duties include but are not limited to: Assist the Driller in drilling duties for the purpose of soil samples and various drilling services. - Traveling throughout California - Expedite field supplies. - Perform yard duties at direction of supervisor. - Load and unload trucks. - Clean and maintain equipment. - Assist with well development and pumping tests. - Operate equipment such as pumps for air, water and mud, and equipment and tools used to correct problems in drilled holes caused by mechanical breakdowns. - Minor mechanical repairs to equipment and tools.
