We are seeking a Porter for a role at Alpha Property Management's managed apartment complex, Holiday Air, located in Grand Forks, ND. Alpha Property Management manages approximately 2500 units of conventional and affordable multifamily housing throughout the Unites States and Puerto Rico. Position Summary Property Management firm has an immediate opening for a full-time experienced Porter with light maintenance duties. We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join our team and assist with the maintenance of the property. Discounted apartment is available if wanted. Duties/Responsibilities: Experience in grounds keeping, janitorial and light maintenance Maintain a clean property assisting in lawn care and snow removal Cleaning vacant units Shampooing apartment hallways Painting Good communication skills Can work independently with little supervision Prepare unit turnovers, including all preparation work Additional duties as assigned Qualifications: Strong customer service skills Must have own vehicle Safety Requirements: Required to observe company safety procedures and standards to ensure individual safety, in addition to avoiding unnecessary risk to oneself, co-workers, customers and property. Physical Requirements: Must be able to walk the property daily May include lifting up to 50 lbs.
