The vast majority ore republicans are over 50. Many of them are well into their senior years. Millions of them die each year. Seniopr democrats are obviously dying as well, but here is the big difference. Very few young people are joining the Republican Party. The GOP appeals to grumpy old white men but nobody else. The vast majority of young people in America are signing on to the Democratic Party as they come of age. A large portion of young voters are signing up as "no party affiliation" but these people al most always vote democrat. The GOP is failing because they have not found a way to increase their base of supporter. America becomes more and more democrat every single year. This is especially true now that young people,e are interested in politics and voting. The republican party loses power every sin ghee voting cycle. No wonder they are trying to re-write election laws in their favor..
