The Strokes The Walkmen Arcade Fire Grouplove Passion Pit These are the bands I’ve been told this project sounds like. This doesn’t mean they have to be your favorite bands and they are not our favorite bands to be interested, but we for sure respect their sound… Hopefully, you have a deep understanding of the history of rock music to be able to appreciate their sound. We're looking for the following: Guitarist Bassist Drummer If you can play to a click, know how to dress cool (without trying to look cool), have an understated onstage confidence where you don’t have to show off to get attention, you don’t care what people think because you know you’re a shedder, you agree less is more, and want to be part of a band that is actually doing stuff, please reach out! We’re looking for people who love the music and won’t have a problem playing parts already recorded. People who can get behind the music and won’t feel “bored” because they can’t solo over everything. That have good (vintage) gear and hopefully have an understanding of why vintage gear is the best gear. Chill people are the best people. Also, if you think ads like this are lame in general, you actually might be the person we’re looking for because ads like this are fucking lame. We’re at the point where an ad like this is sort of a last resort though. There have been plenty of very skilled and interested players who love this project that want in, but we’re looking for the absolute perfect fit and vibe. Hopefully, you think Imagine Dragons, Coldplay, Maroon 5 and the like are NOT great bands. The record is done and highly produced by a well known producer and mixer. We will be doing a full PR campaign, music videos, killer merch, singles leading up to an EP release, then an LP release.
