Join us as we come together to honor World Mental Health Day Sunday, October 10th at 3:00 PM. In this workshop, we will be exploring the landscape of our nervous system and the relationships we form in our lives between our mind, our heart, and our body. After learning of the wisdom that lies within, you will never view yoga the same!
This workshop will focus on:
-Reframing “mental health” as a whole-body experience
-Learning the basics of how your nervous system works- including an appreciation for ALL 3 neurologic centers of your body - not just the brain in your head
-Expanding your view of what it feels like to be “healthy”
-Loading up your toolbox with simple, daily practices and insights to anchor a whole other self-care as we enter this Fall season
What to expect:
-Guided Meditation
-Instruction on basic breathing practices
-Instruction followed by an open discussion of the nervous system and energetics
-Journaling prompts
Things to bring:
-Yoga Mat
-Water
-Journal
-A pillow if you would like to use it as support for our discussion
